Yummy Nutritional Smoothies


Smoothies are an excellent option for those of you interested in increasing your daily fruit intake.  Get antioxidants, protein, vitamins, and much more from a single glass-full of these smoothies. They are a tasty nutritional treat for just about anyone.

Today’s Concoction

1/4 Pineapple Chunks
1/2 Cup of Blueberries
4 slices of frozen Peaches
4 large Strawberries
1 Tablespoon Flaxseed Oil
1 Tablespoon lecithin granules (excellent source of choline)
½ Cup Organic Vanilla Yogurt
12 Fl oz of 100% Pineapple Juice
1 Cup of ice

*You can add Flaxseed Oil and Lecithin granules to any smoothie for added nutritional benefit

Strawberry Smoothie

4 Cups of Strawberries
1 Cup Organic Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
½ Cup 100% Orange Juice

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1 Cup of Strawberries
1 Banana
1/2 Cup Milk, Yogurt, Almond milk, or Coconut Water
1 Cup of Ice

Blueberry, Banana, & Flaxseed

2 Tablespoons whole Flaxseed
½ Cup 100% Orange Juice
½ Cup Organic Vanilla Yogurt
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Banana

NOTE: Place the flaxseeds in dry blender, cover, and blend until ground into a fine powder.  Add additional ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.

Kale, Pineapple Smoothie

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup packed chopped kale
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1 banana
